Following the publication of my article Two-Color Combinations: a Toolkit, I paired with designer and programmer Brian Li to create Color Moods, a web app that would generate two-color palettes based on the amount of stimulation selected by the user. The generator takes into account the average intensity, value difference, hue difference as well as the possible vibration between the two colors.
